Profit control for Shopify merchants running Meta ads

Otheriver Margin brings Shopify revenue, product costs, business expenses, optional Meta advertising spend, and a merchant-configured Tax Reserve into one focused profit dashboard. It is designed for merchants who need a clearer operational view of what remains after the costs they actually control.

What you can track

  • Shopify revenue and orders: import authorized order totals and line items without duplicate records.
  • Product costs: use Shopify inventory unit costs and review cost coverage for sold variants.
  • Business expenses: add one-time or recurring daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly costs.
  • Meta ad spend: connect Meta with read-only ads_read access, select campaigns, ad sets, or ads, and sync the spend you want included.
  • Tax Reserve: create your own percentage rules and calculation bases. Italian merchants can start from editable Italian templates, including configurable SRL fields.
  • Profit metrics: review revenue, product cost, Meta spend, Tax Reserve, estimated net profit, margin, ROI, ROAS, and average profit for the selected reporting period.

How it works

  1. Install Otheriver Margin and authorize its minimum Shopify scopes.
  2. Sync orders and review product costs.
  3. Add payment-fee assumptions and operating expenses.
  4. Optionally connect Meta and choose the advertising hierarchy to include.
  5. Configure Tax Reserve rules appropriate for your business and jurisdiction.
  6. Use the dashboard to review the resulting profit estimate.

Important: Tax Reserve and financial metrics are operational estimates based on Shopify data, Meta insights, and values entered by the merchant. They do not replace accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

Plans

  • Free — $0: up to 50 imported orders per month.
  • Starter — $19/month: up to 300 imported orders per month.
  • Growth — $39/month: up to 1,000 imported orders per month.
  • Scale — $89/month: up to 3,000 imported orders per month.

Eligible paid plans include a 14-day trial. Annual billing provides a 20% discount from twelve monthly payments. When the monthly limit is reached, importing pauses instead of generating surprise overage charges.

Privacy by design

Otheriver Margin uses tenant-separated shop records, encrypted Meta OAuth tokens, HTTPS, restricted production credentials, and Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks. It does not request or intentionally store customer names, customer email addresses, shipping addresses, or card details, and it does not add tracking scripts to the storefront.
