Otheriver Product Configurator Terms of Service

Effective date: August 18, 2026

1. Provider and acceptance

These Terms govern use of Otheriver Product Configurator, provided by Alex Marcone under the Otheriver brand, Via Primo Riccitelli 3, Teramo, Italy, VAT ID 02172620672. Installing or using the app means that the merchant accepts these Terms.

2. Service

The app lets Shopify merchants build guided product configurations, connect options to Shopify variants, define conditional rules and publish a configurator through a Theme App Extension.

3. Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for product data, prices, inventory, configuration content, theme placement, legal disclosures and testing before publication. The app must be used with a valid Shopify store and in accordance with Shopify policies and applicable law.

4. Cart and checkout

The app adds the configured base product and selected component variants to the Shopify cart. Orders and payments remain subject to Shopify checkout, the merchant settings and the terms shown to buyers.

5. Billing

If a paid plan is offered, its price, billing period, trial and limits will be displayed through Shopify before the merchant approves any charge. App charges are processed only through Shopify.

6. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve or modify the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every theme, third-party app or custom storefront.

7. Intellectual property

The app software, design and Otheriver materials remain the property of Alex Marcone or the applicable licensors. Merchants retain rights to the content and product data they provide.

8. Termination and data

The merchant may stop using the app by uninstalling it. Data handling after uninstall is described in the app Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided as available to the maximum extent permitted by law. Otheriver is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Total liability relating to the app will not exceed the amount paid for the app during the preceding twelve months, where legally permitted.

I presenti Termini regolano l’uso di Otheriver Product Configurator, fornito da Alex Marcone con il marchio Otheriver, Via Primo Riccitelli 3, Teramo, Italia, P. IVA 02172620672. Installando o usando l’app, il merchant accetta i presenti Termini.

2. Servizio

L’app consente ai merchant Shopify di creare configurazioni prodotto guidate, collegare opzioni a varianti Shopify, definire regole condizionali e pubblicare il configuratore tramite Theme App Extension.

3. Responsabilità del merchant

Il merchant è responsabile di dati prodotto, prezzi, inventario, contenuti, posizionamento nel tema, informative legali e test prima della pubblicazione. L’app deve essere usata con un negozio Shopify valido e nel rispetto delle politiche Shopify e della legge applicabile.

4. Carrello e checkout

L’app aggiunge al carrello Shopify il prodotto base e le varianti componente selezionate. Ordini e pagamenti restano gestiti dal checkout Shopify e dalle impostazioni del merchant.

5. Fatturazione

Se viene offerto un piano a pagamento, prezzo, periodo, prova e limiti saranno mostrati tramite Shopify prima dell’approvazione di qualsiasi addebito. Gli addebiti dell’app sono gestiti esclusivamente tramite Shopify.

6. Disponibilità e modifiche

Possiamo mantenere, migliorare o modificare il servizio. Non garantiamo disponibilità ininterrotta o compatibilità con ogni tema, app di terze parti o storefront personalizzato.

7. Proprietà intellettuale

Software, design e materiali Otheriver restano di proprietà di Alex Marcone o dei rispettivi licenziatari. Il merchant mantiene i diritti sui contenuti e dati prodotto forniti.

8. Cessazione e dati

Il merchant può interrompere l’uso disinstallando l’app. Il trattamento successivo è descritto nella Privacy Policy dell’app.

9. Esclusioni e responsabilità

L’app è fornita come disponibile nei limiti consentiti dalla legge. Otheriver non risponde di danni indiretti o consequenziali. Ove consentito, la responsabilità complessiva non supera quanto pagato per l’app nei dodici mesi precedenti.
